Singapore is well-known for being a bustling global financial center as well as for being one of the most expensive cities in the world — however, despite these facts, this city-state metropolis remains to be one of Asia’s top travel picks given its array of activities, dining, and shopping options that won’t blow away anyone’s holiday budget! (Things to do in Singapore)
Some would also say that the reason for Singapore’s allure amongst tourists is on how it’s one of the cleanest and safest destinations in the world. Combine that with its melting pot of cultures and fascinating mix of old and ..read more

If you love traveling, you’ve probably considered starting a travel blog. After all, it is a great way to document or share your adventures and experiences while potentially making some extra income on the side — if not make it your main hustle — so that you can eventually fund your travels in a consistent way. (Travel Blogging for Beginners)
Travel blogging is my main profession for about 10 years now and it is such a rewarding career given that it gives me the freedom to work anytime and anywhere while enjoying one of my top passions (which is, obviously, traveling). Moreover, I learned how ..read more

Japan is one of the world’s top travel destinations, and it’s no news that a lot of tourists typically focus on the “usuals”, namely Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. (Niigata Itinerary)
Of course, these are amazing places that are worth anyone’s time, BUT if you want to go off the beaten path in order to explore a new prefecture that can easily take your breath away, hop on a shinkansen (bullet train) in Tokyo and head off to Niigata — the land of sake, snow, rice, gold, and adventure… which just so happens to be a short 2-hour ..read more

Japan is one of my top favorite destinations, and if you’ve been following my journey, it’s an obvious fact because I’ve been doing multiple visits there every year — most of which are to the capital city of Tokyo. (Tokyo Itinerary)
Now of course, who hasn’t heard of this vibrant city full of ancient traditions that are wonderfully contrasted by its bustling modernity? It’s definitely on everyone’s travel bucket list; and I’m sure that much like everyone else, you also want to make the most of this trip minus the stress of planning out your trip.
Well, don’t fret, because with my past experie ..read more

Coming from a tropical country, I’ve come to love the winter season in any destination — so when the tourism board of Helsinki invited me to stay for a week in their wonderful city during the “white” month of February, it wasn’t hard to say YES! (Helsinki Winter Itinerary)
Right then and there, I started daydreaming about all the possible things that I would be doing… but when I asked about my itinerary, the tourism board said that it was a ‘secret’ and that I would know why once I get there. For sure, it was a crafty way of building suspe ..read more

As the capital of Finland’s Lapland, Rovaniemi is best known in the past years as a great European winter destination, and this is because it is optimal for viewing the Northern Lights given its breathtaking location, sweeping terrains, and unique igloo hotels — not to mention, it is also the “official” home town of Santa Claus! (Rovaniemi in Summer)
However, what a lot of people don’t know is that Rovaniemi is also a spectacular getaway in other seasons, most especially in the summer when the days are longer and have everlasting light — yes, you read that right!

A lot of you would have known by now how I adore New Zealand — and that’s not just because it’s the set for ‘Middle-earth’. (New Zealand Road Trip Itinerary)
Regrettably, my first trip to this country felt incredibly short; after all, I barely scratched the surface of the wonders held within the North Island, and I didn’t even manage to drop by the South Island. So when Wild Kiwi invited me to go on a 21-day tour to both of the islands, you bet that I said ‘yes‘ in a heartbeat.
Looking back, it has surely turned out to be one of the most epic road trips that I have ever done in my life. With ..read more

Auckland has over 1.45 million people, and that’s about one-third of New Zealand‘s entire population — with that in mind, it’s no wonder that a lot of people confuse it for the country’s capital (when it’s actually Wellington). Add the fact that Auckland’s bustling metropolis is coupled with gorgeous surrounding terrains, then it surely isn’t surprising that more and more tourists will be mystified by this fact. Growing up in the islands of Batanes in the Philippines, I am no stranger to natural terrains and formations that can easily take anyone’s breath away. In fact, I’m quite hard to please when it comes to such things; but of course, this does NOT mean that I do not appreciate nor acknowledge the beautiful sights that I see in my travels — because I do! However… in order for me to be in utter awe and wonder, the landscapes must be far incredible. (Faroe Islands Itinerary)

I’ve been traveling for more than 5 years now and a lot of people have been asking me how to stay fit while traveling — after all, I have such a haphazard lifestyle and it’s hard to stay on top of my healthier habits.
I usually answer this kind of question with irony and hints of embarrassment (I’m still bad at handling compliments) but after yet another email from a reader the other day, I thought that it was finally time for me to get over my coyness. That’s why now, I’m putting up a post about it as I officially answer this question once and for all.
But first, let me just say that this ‘h ..read more
