I think the issue is the EPG, no? You can tune into the satellites that your dish can see, but it’s getting the EPG I think is model specific. But satellite preference seems to be falling off a cliff these days in favour of internet. My Freesat TV is losing a lot of its LEDs. I want though to replace it with one of these new Freely TVs that are only available in the UK that will finally result in being able to ditch the 2m dish ..read more

Yes, many TVs are country specific if you want to pick up the EPG. But not specific for the satellite which is where your dish size and LNB quality comes into play.
