There’s no real middle ground with this one – you either are committed or not you’re not.  And no doubt if you ask most people involved in Network Marketing and ask them if they are committed or not, naturally they will say they are.  Sadly, however, most are not.  So how do you know you are committed and if you’re not, how do you get committed? The simple answer to the first question is do you put your business first?  If not, then you are not committed.  Sorry if this upsets some folks, but it’s the truth.  Until you do this, then you are not fully in the game ..read more

You do?  Great – end of post.  Only joking.  Now I’ll be honest here.  For years’ when I wasn’t actively working my business, I relied on my husband to make the mortgage and car payments whilst I took the necessary time out for our kids’.  It was a conscious decision I made to stop the prospecting process for a period.  I was still earning income obviously, but after a while I became a little demotivated.  I mean, the fire was still there but once someone else is paying the bills, you kind of take your eyes off.  Hopefully this makes sense.  It can ..read more

I recently did a training around momentum and how important it is to maintain if you want to see consistent results in your business.  A bit like a plane taking off – it requires a significant amount of energy and obviously a plan does not stop mid-runway because the Pilot suddenly changes his/her mind.  The momentum has taken on its own life and the plane lifts off the ground.  Again, if the Pilot killed the engines, the momentum is taken away and the plane will eventually fall out of the sky.  The exact same applies to your business.  So why would you take a break ..read more

I’ll be honest – I screwed up!  Big time.  And you know what, I’m human and I do it from time to time.  Didn’t really expect to do it during the first week of the year, but here we are and I am owning it publicly. I’m not going to go into details however I am embroiled in a dispute with two companies that basically owe me money.  The situation on both fronts has escalated and I’ve had to get our Government authorities involved.  It’s not huge sums of money (we are talking at a little less than $500 – if it were $50 I’d just let it go and move on), but for me, it’s the ..read more
