Springtime means freshness and we have a new drop of two absolute menswear staples from our dear friends at Eton. Firstly the Signature Twill in white is it's global best seller for many reasons and for us - it's officially the "best white shirt in the world" and you can quote us on that.  We're not normally known for being bragadocious but on this - we know we're right, it's tried and tested. Tested on not just ourselves but on hundreds of grooms over the years. This shirt is what links most of the wedding customers who need the sharpest of sharp collars for their big day ..read more

The new season is fully here in store and it's feeling like it out there too. We decided it was high time to pull some looks together from our favourite makers and take to the streets of Manchesterford with our guy Mr Dan Watson on camera duty, as ever. We have layered our looks in ways to show more than one way of wearing certain key pieces. The stand out piece from our Harley collection this season had to be this bold orange Moss Stitch sweater and it does photograph incredibly well. We then switched it out for an olive Fedeli 1/4 zip knit with the same outfit for a low ..read more

And in addition we are one of only a handful of nationwide stockists of  Crockett & Jones. The royal warranted shoe maker has been quietly honing it's craft since 1879 so they know what they're doing by now! No time like Spring time for fresh looks, And from Eton we have plenty of those to choose from. We've had an influx of recent action from the Swedish shirt mafia! Allow us to highlight a few standouts from the larger selection we have both online and in store. We've always had a thing for Eton's denim shirts in particular. Of course, there are many denim shirts out there but it is not an easy thing to produce denim which is so versatile.  So soft are Eton's chambray options that they are wearable more formally, with a tie if required. This creates that perfect bridge between ..read more

The deliveries for the first part of the new season have been pretty consistent from our makers and we were able to grab Mr Dan Watson to shoot most of what we have in store before everything stops for the August break. Direct from Monza, Fedeli have delivered a new version of our best selling piece from them - the 1/4 Zip, known as 'Favonio'.  This season's twist is that it's made in super 140's wool and is so uber fine and lightweight, it's absolutely wearable now, even by itself. This is replenished in a super rich camel tone aswell as the deepest navy w ..read more

Be measured at home or work  With this year being such a big one for potential weddings we are extending our measuring service out into the world. Since we actually started our business as travelling tailors it's a familiar thing for us to return to.  It means you can have an appointment in the comfort of your own home or office or at our Savile Row office. All this coincides with Mr Stott now being back in Grantham and therefore it's easier for us to service the South!            ..And we started our appointments for the year ahead last weekend!
