Just ordered my Volt 5 yesterday, changing from my Skywalk Mint, flew 93 hours on it and 4 days SIV.
Should be here mid May!
Will post my comparison between mint and volt 5 later in year.
Can't wait to hear your feedback on a direct comparison Andrew as theses 2 gliders are both under consideration!

I wonder what trim he used there. As he had a slight edge in speed against 2023 L loaded at 122kg and late 2023 XL loaded at the top.

Is there anyway to see landings in this app? I use Flyskyhy and there is always marked landings and takeoffs on the map.
It is kinda sweet sometimes flying in new areas like the alps knowing there is a decent landing nearby to aim for when things go south

And this subsequent info on overcoming fear is good for paragliding too:

I appreciate the variety of viewpoints here. I also appreciate the positive experience that several of you have had flying the Bonanza 3. This is all very helpful information for those of us who can’t easily test fly wings.
With all that being said, I do want to gently push back against the idea that the top speed of a glider is really only most relevant in a competition racing context, and not in everyday XC flying.
