I have decided to not proceed with the installation of this kit for various reasons. Hoping someone can help me as I dont really (obviously) dont know much about wiring. I swapped out my ratted out NA seats for a pair of NB2 seats. I just finished installing new upholstery from LSeat.com. While I had the covers off, I installed a set of heated seat pads. I ran the wires going to the seats under the carpet, up the back and came out where the fuel/trunk releases are. I then attached the wires to the carpet along the top of the transmission tunnel to hold them in place. Today I took a 313 mile road trip. It was all highway, but I'm guessing the average speed was only about 65 since there were so many construction zones. The top (soft) was up the whole time, and the AC was on for the last couple of hours. I started with a full tank and could only get 7.6 gallons in the tank when I arrived at my destination, yielding a mpg of just over 41.
