Charging light + Jolting

I have a 92 UK model Na. 1. My charge/Alternator light comes on and off seemingly randomly. I'd assume faulty alternator but it seems to charge around 15.5 volts and never doesn't start up. 2. Unsure if these issues are linked but the car will randomly jump up and down in revs when driving it doesn't seem to last long and tends to go away on its own or with some power. Any ideas? :ohno ..read more

I need a Roll bar, I think.

So I've been reading up on roll bars and know the aren't the same as "style bars". Maybe ya'll can send me in the right direction. My car is a 1995 NA, it's for driving around town and on road trips and will never be tracked. Is there a roll bar that doesn't require me to hack up the interior to be useful? We've been trying to stay as close to factory as possible with modifications in this car and have done some significant preservation so chopping things up doesn't sit well. I also want to add that the car has a new top with a glass window if that helps ..read more

Installed an aftermarket HUD

After driving my friends Mazda 3 with the HUD I was jealous. I looked around and found this one. It uses the ODBII for power and function. I was able to calibrate the speed using my phone GPS. Overall I'm super happy with it. It works really well and you can use it with or without the reflective tint thing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098QDRBX4...roduct_details Attached Images photo_2024-02-28 14.53.22.jpg (87.2 KB) photo_2024-02-28 14.53.27.jpg (51.3 KB) photo_2024-02-28 14.53.30.jpg (74.9 KB ..read more

Can you play satellite radio through app on 2014 miata?

I have a 2014 Grand Touring. It has a Bose system with satellite radio but I don’t want to get another subscription. Is there a way to plug my iPhone into the radio and use the aux channel to just play Sirius through the app on my phone? The Bose system has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Will an adapter from 3.5mm to USB-C work? Or do I have no choice but to get the second subscription (I have one for another vehicle ..read more

HKS GT2 Install by Fab9 Team!

Big kudos to Bryan, Jason and Damien at FAB9! Got the HKS GT2 supercharger kit installed last week at Fab9 facilities in Lebanon, TN. Kit includes all HKS product as well as new LFP battery and mount. I love driving on track and since I pretty much maxed out how fast I could go on track in this car (and I really like my car) I decided to go the HKS FI route. I can do basic maintenance on the car but did not feel comfortable to do this SC install on my own. Seeing what is involved, I am very impressed with those of you who took on this task on their own! Fortunately, FAB9 offers install at $1 ..read more

AutoExe Steering Wheel

I recently installed AutoExe's Sport Steering Wheel on my ND. Taking my time and watching the various video's a few times, it took me a little over an hour, with no real issues, to install the new wheel. I couldn't be much happier with it. The wheel is extremely well made, at least as nice as OEM, with red stitching that matches my SRC paint nicely. It's a tiny bit smaller in diameter than stock, but much thicker, with a mild D shape for additional leg room. For those considering an improved steering wheel, this is a fabulous option in my opinion, particularly if you have red car. Attached Im ..read more

Replacement Calipers

I have a stock brake setup with improved pads and fluid and need new front calipers. I do lots of autocross and will be back on the track for HPDE this year so I want something very reliable but not too expensive - Mazda OEM calipers are too expensive. Lots of choices out there but most have conflicting reports on various forums and my shop doesn't do anything but OEM so I'm a little lost. Any experience or info. would be appreciated ..read more

FOUND IT! Replacement rubber bumpers for exterior door handles
MX-5 Miata Forum
by malmenator

There are 2 little rubber bumper stops for the exterior door handle of these cars, that when they break off, the handle itself sags inward. UGLY. After tons of time scouring the net, I found these and they fit perfectly. Just try to pull out or push in the old/broken stopper/bumpers and lube up these new ones and use tweezers to get them in. Boom, no more saggy exterior door handles! You only need 4 total (2 per side), so this pack of 20, is plenty and good to have for future use. Enjoy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CHMF2Q4G...t_details&th=1 Just in case the link above happens to not work ..read more

NB1 Low Oil questions.
MX-5 Miata Forum
by MX-5Oh

Purchased my NB1 around 3 months ago and immediately did Cam/Crank Seals, Timing Belt & Accessory belts due to an oil leak that it had (bad enough to leave large puddles on the ground and consumed nearly 1qt of oil on a 45 mile drive before I noticed the leak). Fast forward to today, around 5000 miles later I did an oil change - and to my surprise I found MAYBE 2 quarts of oil drained out. I have religiously checked the dipstick and It has always shown as full - I have NO oil puddles on my driveway anymore nor at my place of work (which was a common thing for the first week I owned the ca ..read more
