The Future of Auto Lock Picking
Hello!
Most lock pickers don't go anywhere near picking auto-locks (car locks) since they tend to spend their time on the never ending, and endlessly frustrating selection of pin-cylinders.
But recently Lishi, who have traditionally made tools for auto-locksmiths have been releasing picks for domestic locks such as Schlage and Kwikset, which use much the same techniques and style of tool they use for ..read more

A recent study from the Lancet shows that a 6ft separation is significantly more effective at reducing transmission of Covid-19 that 3ft.
Another article from the BBC has more to say on this too.
This study on viral transmission goes a good way to advising on other recommended steps to follow if you are considering venturing out, or going back to work, or you're going to be around friends and family who might be more vulnerable.

Hello lock pickers,
It's a funny old game, life! The top three quotes about life on a whopping list of 150 are as follows:
1. “The purpose of our lives is to be happy.” — Dalai Lama
2. “Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.” — John Lennon
3. “Get busy living or get busy dying.” — Stephen King
Which if we were to condense into one SuperQuote™ would read something like this....
"Get busy being happy when you're not making other plans"
Which is actually good advice, since what it's really saying is 'Life happens now'.
The Dalai Lama - he's go ..read more

Let’s get straight into this. Progressive locks are a set of locks pinned with 2, 3, 4, and 5 pins. You learn to pick the 2 pin lock, then the 3 pin lock, then keep going until you’ve picked the 5 pin lock and Boom – you’re a lock picker! There you go – happy days. Or not.
So the question is – are they any good, are they worth getting? Well first of all there’s the cost. You’re looking at about $50 for a set of half decent progressive locks. If you know how to and you have the tools, you can make your own. But if you know how to repin locks, I would hazard a gue ..read more

What is a master key?
We all have dreams, and, in my game I actually do, still - after all these years - dream of lock picking. I’ve had them all..
1 - The Picks Melt. Yup - a recurring dream this one where the pick and the wrench go in the lock, and as soon as I start the work, they melt, as of Uri Gellar himself was picking the lock. First time it happened in fact I was stuck with that all day - assuming Geller was really capable and not just a conjurer, lock picking would be a nightmare for him, as it is for me in this recurring dream.
2 - Public Nudity. Psychoanalysts will tell you d ..read more
