so I don't know if this has already been asked, but I'm very confused about the whole time travel thing, so there are 2 timelines within the prisoner of Azkaban, 1: the initial time where we follow the trio go to Hagrid's and to the shrieking shack thru the womping willow. which we know from them time traveling caused the pebbles, Patronus, etc., however Buckbeak dies and Sirius does get sent to Azkaban. while it isn't showed, it is implied that Buckbeak dies, but I think he does die in the initial timeline. 2: Buckbeak is freed and Sirius does escape, but if the initial reason they get sent ..read more

I know, pretty rare occurence. In my opinion, this is one of if not the only time this happens. In the 4th HP (best book by far btw), Dobby is supposed to give Harry the Gillyweed to dive in the lake for the 2nd task. But in the movie, it was reworked to be Neville. And I think this makes much more sense. I’m currently attempting to hand carve a replica of the elder wand, but I’m going mostly based off of reference photos. I’d buy a Nobel collection version, but money’s tight & it kinda defeats the purpose of making my own.
