  We had a four-way tie for crossing the finish line of the Forty Book Challenge!  Congratulations, Odin!  That is a LOT of books! Odin says, “I really like reading.  One of my favorite series is Imagination Station because I love the adventure in it.  You get to learn about the Bible and history and that Jesus died on the cross for us.  It was one of the ways that helped me become a Christian because I listened to the audio books and then Dad read the books to me.  Now I can read them on my own.  They told me about how to be saved, and I asked my dad ab ..read more

Ali also finished the Forty Book Challenge the same day!  We did a confetti high five and cheered her on! “I have loved reading The Owl Diaries.  I like that they have lots of adventures, like in book 12 they find a golden statue of an owl.  I like Lucy Beakman and Eva Wingdale because they are funny characters. My favorite place to read is in my room in my pillow corner.  It has a lot of stuffies, and I have lots of pillows along with three really big stuffies.  There is also a soft gray chair I got for my birthday ..read more

Mrs. B.’s Uncle Ed has piloted well over 1,000 Young Eagles in the Young Eagles program.  Notice the Young Eagles shirt that he wore when he recently visited from the west coast! This week Joshua joined his sister and brother (and over 2.3 million other young people) in the World’s Largest Logbook after completing his Young Eagles flight.
