Hi everyone! My baby girl isn’t due until October, so I’m a ways away from having my baby shower. I however tend to always plan everything way ahead so I’m not rushing and stressing last minute! I have my theme, party favors, game prizes, decor, everything already ready to be ordered and set in stone. My issue however is that I know typically a Diaper Raffle winner gets a larger gift and I am stumped on ideas! May I mention NOBODY coming drinks, so bottles of wine etc are out of question. If y’all have any suggestions please let me know! TIA!

I am having a hard time deciding what to do for my baby shower. These are my two options
Have the baby shower on a Saturday at a community centre and invite everyone to my house nearby (2 mins drive away) for a pool party with their kids and spouses plus enjoy a bbq/drinks afterwards.
Have the baby shower on a Sunday at a community centre and that’s it.
This would either be on August 24th or 25th. So it is asking for everyone’s saturday in the summer. I know people can have plans at the cabin or lake, or going to the beach, or wedding or prior engagements and that Sundays are usually fr ..read more

Hello! I'm throwing a baby shower for my friend and colleage. We met during medical residency in my country, and she has helped me getting work in our medical field. As I feel greatfull, I want to throw her a small shower since in my country it can get expensive.
I was thinking of doing a small brunch for max 10 people, at a nice restaurant around town that has a special that includes the food+ water, juice and coffee. I counted 2 mimosas per person drinking. I was thinking of paying for everyone but I'm not sure if that would be the ettiquette. ???
In the restaurant I would have a pre establ ..read more

Hello All!
I have been given the responsibility of arranging games for my sisters baby shower in June, however I am a little unsure of which ones to be able to do.
So far I have a “guess the baby photo” for each member coming to the shower, and I am debating the following one as I am unsure if it will be good to do or if it would be boring (photo is attached)
Any help is appreciated!!

I am having my first baby in a couple of months, I’m not from the States and in my culture a baby shower is not a done thing really. We don’t like to count our blessings before we have them and just hope the baby arrives healthy rather than “celebrating” prematurely. I do however, have a lot of friends here who keep asking me about a shower and who will most likely want to give me gifts regardless. Does it come across the wrong way if I set up a registry and share it with whoever asks without having a shower? I always feel a shower is a way to host and thank everyone for the gifts that they a ..read more

Would 10 weeks be to soon to send out invitations out, I was going to wait for the 8 week mark but I hadn't considered family vacations, graduations, birthdays, etc. I have lots of friends born in June and 1 friend already planned a Vegas trip for that weekend and 2 family members out of town that weekend.
