You are looking at a diffuse emission nebula located in northern constellation of Cassiopeia. Part of the Milky Way’s Perseus Spiral Arm. It is known as the “Pacman Nebula”. ( a name that doesn’t seem to fit particularly well! )
This two panel mosaic was photographed under northern skies, at my home in Valencia.
Viewing in full screen is recommended.
