Hello! I got my TEFL certificate in January, and for the past 1.5 years I have been private tutoring and teaching english to children between the ages of 3 and 12. Hi all, I'm looking for book recommendations, fiction or non-fiction. My student has very advanced vocabulary but doesn't want to read books that use over-complicated words or words that aren't really used much in daily life. She wants to practice using her passive vocabulary more. We started reading To Kill A Mockingbird and realised the language wasn't useful. Any recommendations? And since acquiring a VISA is almost impossible in my case. Is enrolling in an online TEFL course the same as the non-online one?
