Sadly since 1950, comics have been considered as junk culture that has no place in schools. But what about the two golden decades between 1927-1950? During this period there were many non –fiction true science comics used like any ordinary text book in schools. In parallel with our Innovative VirologyComics, I will be posting these antique TRUE COMICS. I hope you find them enjoyable and informative! Cimaza Virology Comics combines colorful, fact-filled comic imagery with science communication to educate children and teens about vaccines and infectious diseases. The engaging and creative comic strip style helps children learn about viruses, the value of vaccines, how vaccines work, and the people who discovered them. Cimaza Virology Comics was awarded the Innovation in Science Literacy Award for 2017.
