Today's recipe is Goan Prawn Chilly Fry ,which goes great with some rice & saurac/sorak,or rice & dhal..even with some fresh chappatis it's delicious.
Ingredients
1 cup/250 grams of prawns cleaned & deviened
1 medium onion chopped
1 inch ginger chopped fine
4 cloves of garlic chopped fine
2 green chillies cut into halves
1 medium tomato chopped fine
1/2 cup of corriander chopped fine
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp of red chilli powder
salt to taste
1-2 tbsp Oil for cooking

In the mid ‘80’s, Belons were easily available in Manhattan. The were shipped from Brittany, FR. Large flat shell almost the size of a baseball. Briny, with a ‘coppery’ finish. Somebody was growing them in the Penobscot Bay, Maine about 20 years ago.
