I received free product in exchange for this post.  All text and opinions are my own. Sending your little tyke off to preschool for the first time can be an emotional and tough experience for both parents and child. We are gearing up to send our 4 year old son off to preschool next week and thankfully, he is really excited and ready to go learn! Getting your child ready and mentally prepared for school ahead of time is key to making sure everything goes smoothly, with the least amount of stress as possible. Here are some tips and ideas that we used last year and again this year as we get ..read more

I received free product for this post, but all opinions are my own and completely true. Shopping for toddlers and older kids can be a challenge.  While I love to go walk the aisles of Carters, Target, or Old Navy, and select cute styles for my little ones, it can be tough to do so with crazy and wild kids!  Shopping for clothes is not one of my kids favorite things, so when I heard of FabKids I was sold that I could just pick outfits online at my leisure and it would show up on my doorstep every month.   FabKids is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls where you ge ..read more

Having 2 toddlers is exhausting and amazing at the same time.  I love having my son and daughter 2 years apart since they can play well together and are becoming friends.  But life can definitely be tough when you have a 3 and 1 year old in the house.  If you are wondering what life with two toddlers is like, here are some daily questions I ask myself, and you may too.  1. How much longer can I pretend I don’t hear they’re awake already? I am not a morning person, like at all. When I hear my kiddos awake and talking or crying in the morning, I may put a pillow on my head t ..read more

If your kids are anything like mine, we cannot leave the house without having a healthy handful of snacks in my bag.  Not only do snacks keep kids busy while in the car or while out and about shopping, but I like to use snacks to try and get extra nutrition in them throughout the day.  Of course I still feed classic toddler snacks like goldfish crackers and animal cookies, but I do try hard to feed my kids as nutritiously as possible when I can, so times that its not so easy I feel like it balances out. So if you’re in a rut and looking for some healthy options that offer a lot of b ..read more

I received free product in exchange for this post.  All opinions are my own. While the baby phase can be tough with sleepless nights, around the clock feeding and constant diaper changes, toddler and preschool aged kids can be even more difficult at times.  As much as I’ve loved watching my 4 year old son grow up, communicate better, and have a mind of his own, it can also be difficult at times.  I’ve come up with a few creative ways (and an innovative product) to encourage him to make positive behavior changes, and hopefully they can work for you and your kiddo tool Give Posit ..read more

How to Survive the Nights When Traveling With Toddlers

I love traveling and visiting new places but once I had kids, things changed.  Traveling with toddlers or just young kids for that matter can be quite the ordeal where sleepless nights can almost be guranteed. My kids are awesome sleepers at home (for more info on how we do it, click here), but most of that is due to the fact that they each have their own dark room, white noise and separate beds.  When traveling though, having their own space is usually not easy to come by.  And all sleeping in one hotel room has NEVER worked for us. After traveling with my kids for the past 3 ..read more
