WPOW and HumanEYES USA are pleased to announce the recipient of the Lena Grant, photographer, Moriah Ratner, for her project “Live Like Lola”. Moriah was awarded $3,000 to continue her work with 13-year old Lola Muñoz, who is learning how to grapple with the ways in which diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, a terminal brain cancer, has become a limitation on her childhood.   Moriah states, “I strive to make a difference by bringing attention to the plight of communities through photography. The Lena Grant is named in honor of Lena Wallace, Roberts’ great-grandmother and one of her biggest inspirations.
