Last week, we announced a new SaaStock coming to Dublin this October. As we started to think about this year’s event, we recognised that last year’s SaaStock wasn’t a different product from 2019. And that really, that was an iteration of the first SaaStock in 2016 (just 471% bigger).  We wanted to innovate on that product and bring it forward to meet the needs of SaaS founders, operators, and investors now. In this market, faced with new technologies, and changing buying habits.  We’re really excited about what’s to come, so I wanted to take the time to explain what changes we’re mak ..read more

I don’t have a lot of employees, I don’t have a lot of problems, this is great’. The problem is like, most of those companies are actually just slowly dying. But what creating companies like that can allow you to do is you get it to that; you get somebody else run ..read more

In this episode of the SaaS Revolution Show our host Alex Theuma is joined by Ev Kontsevoy, CEO of Teleport, as he shares how to decide which ‘baby’ to kill…   “We never make obviously bad decisions. Every single decision seems rational in the moment. But there is like a certain trend – and the one thing that keeps biting me is ignoring complexity for too long. Eventually I self correct, and I just realised ‘hey, the business is getting more complicated, the product is getting more complicated, the way we sell is getting more complicated.’ And every time I kind of catch myself, like, I sh ..read more

This post was first published in our SaaStock Blueprint newsletter. Subscribe now to get insights like this, straight to your inbox.  It’s somewhat of a SaaS adage that only 4% of SaaS companies make it to $1M ARR, and that only 0.4% make $10M.  And so $100M is even fewer again. According to Notion Capital, only 1% of the companies that raise more than $3m go on to achieve $100M in ARR. It’s a milestone that few founders get to reach. As a result, the path to achieving it stays muddy.  I’ve spoken to a number of founders who’ve managed to get there on the podcast – and whi ..read more
