[Travel in March 2024] Wow, finally back to Jeju after 7 years! I’m so excited to explore the island again. My last three trips to Jeju were blessed with sunny and pleasant weather, but this time we faced a bit of a delay due to heavy rain. It was a bit disappointing because Jeju truly shines in the sun for the best experience! Checked in 2 luggages for 4 pax, and having holly for breakfast. 3 of us continue to work haha!  I always feel we should be given a drink on flights; I get very thirsty! Reached Jeju—hello Jeju! I love Egg Drop more than Isaac Toast. Ever since the Sinchon outle ..read more

[Travel in March 2024] It’s Shumin’s birthday today, and we have a full day planned. We started with our favorite quick drink at Twosome Place, then headed to Myeongdong for an early lunch at Shumin’s favorite, Myeongdong Kyoja (명동교자). Our day includes visits to several cafes, like 동백양과점 (Dong Baek) and SOHA SALT POND, along with plenty of shopping in between. Our melon soju – so thick, and believe the use entire melon to make this drink haha! Mountain of food, with many side dish – do you find the plate familiar? We ordered mixture of – Steam Bossam and Jokbal! I always love the cold no ..read more

[Travel in March 2024] I actually bought about this place in 2014. 10 years later, I thought I should update the food photos haha! When visiting Korea for the first time, it’s common for most people to go to MDKJ, a famous restaurant in the country. Nowadays, they have several outlets in Myeongdong. The original location, established in 1976, remains popular with both Koreans and foreigners who frequent the restaurant. This is also the restaurant that Shumin really enjoyed on every trip to Korea. To celebrate her special day, we began with the meal she loved. So, here we are. There are four of ..read more

[Travel in March 2024] I didn’t initially plan to visit this cafe because it’s quite overhyped and not very new. It’s already all over the web and needs no introduction, haha. But since it was on my way, I thought, why not grab a cup of hot milk tea? I really wanted a warm drink, haha. I actually like how industrial looking it is. So, when it first open, I wanted to visit it badly. Slowly, year pass, covid happened, and I just didn’t visit this anymore. Coincidentally, I visit this time round while walking pass it! While waiting for my strawberry milk tea (ended up, didnt get my milk tea OR ..read more

[Travel in March 2024] I’ve had my doubts about the Salted Bread trend in Korea. It seems like every café and bakery offers it, even major chains like Paris Baguette. But are they actually as good as they’re hyped up to be? Is it worth waiting in line for them? the famous store, where they sold 7000 buns a day! Queue is long but fast! What you need to do, is to go to the machine, order and make payment Take ur queue number and queue! how can a normal bread with salt taste so good! the bun look exactly like this~ I asked you to see again and again on how the bun look like, because ..read more

[Travel in March 2024] My first stop for the trip was at an official café. The previous day was filled with errands, during which my cousin and I did a lot of shopping and treated ourselves to a refreshing hair treatment, all to prepare for a great week ahead in Korea. I was thrilled when this café opened in Itaewon. I wondered if the Itaewon branch was already crowded, so I opted to visit the newest outlet in Seoul – Seongsu. When a café is popular and shared by many, you often wonder if it will be too crowded or overwhelming. Let’s see if you feel the same after reading this post! when we ..read more

[Travel in March 2024] Getting a perm and hair treatment is always at the top of my to-do list whenever I visit Korea—their services are top-notch! However, during Covid, it’s been tough not being able to pamper my hair in Korea. That’s why I’ve realized I need to plan my trips a day earlier just to fit this in! It’s become a fun little tradition every time I visit Korea. I recalled…. that I needed to style my hair, so while strolling along EDAE, I settled on Cecica. My cousin and I have been visiting there annually (except during the Covid period). This year, we made a reservation through Fa ..read more

[Travel in December 2022 – January 2023] This will mark my final post for my Korea 2022/2023 series! To be frank, I never imagined that my 12-day trip would yield enough material for 45 posts. At times like these, I’m truly grateful for the support of those around me, enabling me to share abundant content on my website. The effort invested in each post – from navigating directions to capturing photos and even sourcing various items for diversity – all stems from a place of genuine passion.
