I saw this weird instrument being played at The Fiddler's Convention below Red Lion PA back in the 80's. A guy who was seated was bouncing this instument on his knee along with the music. It looked like a flat metal marionette with hinged legs and would bounce on a metal base tapping out some random syncopated rhythms along to the music. It sounded so cool yet was so odd. Does anyone have a clue as to what I'm talking about?
