Love this song. Short but so sweet. I wanted to ask your opinions on what you think the meaning of this song is or what it might mean to you?
Lyrics:
Locked in a stalemate With a man who bars no holds Rock and a hard place He's battering control What am I waiting for? Feet planted beneath My compass, my transport

Don't get excited. I found posts as old as 2008 saying they split up. "Bedlam" or "Bedlam Boys"(as I've known them for the majority of my years). Their real names are Gregor Harvey & Grant Foster. They covered some old english songs (I think as old as 1300), arranged with 2 voices and 2 guitars. Their versions are stunning (I fell in love with "The cruel sister" when I was 14, almost 10 years ago... sheeesh). On yt there is a playlist by a certain "Lindoriel" that containst apparently all their work.

In the version on Rising Sun Melodies, Reed refers to the tune as "a song that is as old as the hills and has the oldest flavor." I believe that Reed is not the original creator of the song (though her lyrics may have been original), but I can't find it credited to anyone else or listed as traditional, either.
I'm certain I've heard the tune in other ..read more

I’m finish a minimalist folk album, need to make the cover, any tips?
I want to know if there are any “rules” or things to know before making a folk inspired album cover, the album consists of only guitar & vocals (and harmonica) and its heavily inspired and influenced by the 60s & 70s folk albums. So that’s the thing, any font ideas or picture for the album cover that I could use or have in mind?
