You love to see it... the joys of fishing taking root in the next generation of bass anglers. There is truly nothing like getting the big one, and its hard to not want to share those moments with the people who taught you how to do it... like your dad. Fishing in general is a great way to relax and learn about the great outdoors. To be a truly good fisherman, one has to think like a fish which takes years of study and practice. It's truly a labor of love, that requires a lot of experience to be good. You can watch the pros in the Elite Series or the Bass Pro Tour, you can watch all the instru ..read more

Talk about cowboying up. Yellowstone is a demanding show for the actors. They must embody the complex characters that fill our screens and meet physical demands that set the authentic Western apart from other shows. Earlier this week, I had the chance to sit and chat with Cole Hauser, better known as the cowboy heartthrob Rip, on the show, and we got to talking about horseback riding and the physical demands that were required of them from the show. While Taylor Sheridan's Cowboy Camp is a widely well-known aspect of their "cowboy training" program, I still wondered how they could get some co ..read more

Giving back to his community. Since becoming a massive superstar, Jelly Roll has always done his best to never forget where he came from and give back as much as he can. And a big part of that is supporting youth in juvenile detention facilities - including the one that he was locked up in himself. After first entering the juvenile system at the age of 14, he spent his late teenage years and his early 20s in and out of jail before discovering music and turning his life around, a story that's led him to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, a CMA Award for Best New Artist, and two Grammy nomination ..read more

You can never go wrong with a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover. Especially when you have an all-star cast of musicians burning it down on stage together. With the release of Norther, their highly anticipated first studio album in nearly five years, Shane Smith & the Saints are one of the hottest acts in music right now. The buzz surrounding the band is palpable, and has been for a while, as the shows keep getting bigger and bigger and the fanbase continues to grow at a rapid pace. All of this will come to a culmination of sorts, at this point in their careers at least, when the Austin, TX based outfi ..read more

FORE LEFT! Anyone that's played golf before knows that every shot doesn't go exactly as planned. Even the best golfers in the world occasionally hit a shot off line, sometimes ending up in hazard areas of the course, or worse, the dreaded out-of-bounds. But not every person who plays the frustrating game of golf can say that they've had their golf ball snatched up by a curious critter à la Caddyshack. The person in this story hit their tee shot into a wooded area left of the fairway, and when they went to look for it, they found it... in the hands of a squirrel. Shane Bacon, a golf announcer ..read more

Has Trent Baalke been indulging in some Doug Pederson ice cream days too often during the Jacksonville Jaguars' myriad team meetings ahead of the NFL Draft? Because Mr. Baalke, sir, whatever the explanation, you most definitely squeaked one out your cheeks in front of the media gallery. Check out this footage of Baalke not breaking stride at all, acknowledging and apologizing for breaking wind in front of these innocent reporters who are just trying to do their job and get a quote one week before the NFL Draft opens. https://twitter.com/49ersSportsTalk/status/1781075143969694117 "Excuse me ..read more

People just suck sometimes. It seems like it's even worse now than it was pre-COVID. I don't know if everybody just forgot how to act while we were all locked inside or what the deal is, but between concert fights and airplane meltdowns and just general asshole behavior, it seems like there are just more downright shitty people in the world these days. And that was on full display at the ballpark recently, when a young fan had a signed baseball from his favorite player stole from him during a game between the Minnesota Twins and the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. According to a Facebook p ..read more

Religion was a major part of most American households in the 1950's, especially in the Bible Belt. But also brewing throughout the country was an uprising of music that fully manifested itself in the rock and roll explosion which captured the country and ushered in a new phase of American culture. Willie Nelson was born in Abbott, Texas in 1933 and experienced these two worlds come to be in his formative early years. He'd been playing music himself since he was only 6 years old and his first performances were at his local church. At just nine, he wound up playing with a local band called Bohe ..read more

Farmer Picks Up Wild Lynx By The Back Of The Neck To Scold It For Killing His Chickens

This guy is insane. A man by the name of Chris Paulson in British Columbia decided that a wild lynx wasn't going to get away without a stern talking to after it raided his chicken coop. He posted a video of him holding the lynx up by the back of neck as he walked it around the carnage and pointed out all that was wrong with the chicken killing spree it had just gone on. Now not only is what this farmer did dangerous, it's also illegal. It's against the law to disturb wild animals like this, even if they did just get into your chicken coop and gobbled a couple of chickens up. I understand wher ..read more
