A Ph.D. candidate, his dissertation investigates transgender mental health, psychoanalytic theories of perversion, and clinical transphobia. This research aims to address the continued psychiatric pathologization of trans people, and to broadly support the efficacy of trans-competent mental health care.

I have a new publication to share! For those of you into Lacan, perversion, science fiction, and wrapping your head around clinical transphobia, this might be the article for you.
One of the coolest parts of this piece, for me, was engaging with an original drawing done by a trans person in psychoanalysis in 1948. The image was preserved in a psychiatric case study. We have always existed, and although not always found in official record, traces of trans life persist. I hope I did them justice!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be teaching in Canmore Counselling's Yoga Teacher Training several times this year. Canmore Counselling is a BIPOC owned, Trauma-Informed yoga psychology school, founded by Dr. Melissa Jay and Micheal Yudcoviitch <3
I will be teaching in the 200hr YTT, the 300 hr YTT, and the 60-Hours of Continuing Education "Trauma-Informed Yoga Psychology". My offerings include modules on anti-oppression and trans competency.
