Raw Energy Pursuits (REP) is one of the rarer and more specialised running event companies that we work with. I often describe them as a "boutique" event organisers - well turned out, and a lot of attention to detail in presentation and planning, as well as putting up a good show, and excellent teams of marshals and well briefed volunteers. The 2024 Southampton Race gallery is now live ! and so is Cowdray Spring "run the seasons" trail run, and Brentwood was last week (sorry I didn't post a blog - but I knew the organisers had emailed you all). Nobody caught up with the first prize up again this year.  Happy New Year ! (chinese new year if you insist). Well that was a busy weekend back after - no work since December 2023. Things can get a bit weird if you're not up on your self motivation and ready for the rush ahead and keeping on top of the admin for next year (yes it does take a bit of organisation and planning!) I was the first person to finish the entire Brighton Marathon course in 2010 (I did get a lift around in the lead car though) With news that the Brighton Marathon has applied for administration, which might not be a surprise to many, but it's worth remembering - it is the second largest marathon after London in the UK.  There's a lot of factors at work here, and I confess to not being the frontline on the journalism across this - but basically the winner from last year didn't get paid his prize money.
