With the imminent transition of The Neurology Lounge from blog to podcast,
I was driven to post a farewell blog.
This was initially intended to identify 100 immutable laws of neurology,
but the more I searched, the less I found.
So I sent out an appeal on Twitter and got a few contributions,
but most responses were conditional admonishments,
couched with “most likely” and “until proven otherwise”.
I therefore came close to agreeing with one neurotwitter contributor,
who argued that the only immutable law of neurology is,
there are no immutable laws.

Who are the most influential neurologists in history? Not an easy task as the starting field is rather wide. Creating a ‘top list‘ of anything is potentially controversial because there are often no clear inclusion criteria, and justifications are often subjective.
