St. Patrick’s Day is this week and my district is on break! I have to admit, I’m always a little sad that I don’t get to be there for this holiday. The end of the quarter is quickly approaching and that means it’s time to update those data sheets! During my first few years using data sheeets, I would only update them at the end of the year and every time I completed them, I’d say to myself…”it would have been so nice to have this for that IEP we had last month” or “this would have been helpful during my retention meeting“. I was looking at the calendar and saw that we’re nearing the end of February already! Is it me or are the kids in full spring fever mode a little early this year? Do you have emergent writers that get stuck when they see a blank page? I have a group of students this year that need some support to help them focus on writing simple sentences.
