Cooperation for victory! After a long hiatus of game design (and writing blog posts) I’m finding myself thinking about possibilities again. So I’m thinking worker placement, but your workers are actually decks that you build… I’d heard good things about “The crew”. And so I bought, played and loved it! The crew is a cooperative trick-taking game. Generally I’m not a fan of trick taking games, but combined with the cooperative element it really worked! Maybe a bit -too- concrete? In my last post I mentioned that I am abandoning the design I’ve been working on. Unfortunate, but these things happen. The good thing is, this means that I get to come up with a new design project!
