Got my first Manix 2 in late last week and it's too nice. I loved the solid yet, one handed lock operation so much that I also snagged an AD20.5 Sharks foot to get another strong fidgety option in to try. I'm a little needlessly paranoid of wrecking the tip on this Manix, so I think the AD20.5 will be a solid piece to rotate through for hard use applications around the yard and camping etc. when I might be worried about breaking something, but loving the Manix. With all the options out there for customizing a knife or any of your favorite EDC gear, it's almost hard to know where to start and what to do. Some of the modders are great with Ano, others do personalized grind work to create rock patterns or striations, then they ano those in various ways to give it dimension. Wanted a fixed blade knife for EDC that could fit in my front pocket without showing over the top. Previous to this, my smallest fixed blade was my Morakniv Classic 1/0, which I love but is too big to keep in my pocket without being visible. This one is shorter and much flatter. I went with the spear point over the other Minimalists because it's thicker, and the reason I want to carry a fixed blade in the first place is to use it for cutting wood for campfires.
