We have been anxiously awaiting Arthiss’s weekly list of duplicate books. I hope you have added some new titles to your library. Arthiss added about 50 new titles to ..read more

Hello dear lace-making friends. I thought I would give you a little summary of our April quarterly meeting in case you were unable to join us live or by zoom.
I imagine all of you have received, via electronic or mail, a copy of our new directory. Thank you to Kathy and Jackie for such a very nice directory. It was a fantastic idea to add photos and Jackie did her photo-shopping magic on the cover to show the Christmas ornaments we had made for display. Great job.

Here is the first newsletter for the NEW YEAR. I suppose every one is over the excitement of the holidays and are ready to get back to the everyday things. I don’t know what each of you is working on, but it will be interesting to see. I still am working on the piece that Debbie gave me and it is hard to keep my attention on it. I’m afraid my tension is not very good and I keep trying to get better at it. We will have our business meeting the last Tuesday of Jan so I hope we will have a good turnout and see what is on for the coming months.

President’s Message
I want to take this time to thank Cathy for the Honiton workshop. I would like to say I finished mine, but that wouldn’t be truthful so I will say that it is waiting for me to find a way of finishing it and get something else on my pillow, but probably not Honton at this time. So what exciting things are each of you working on; Or are you perhaps working on those Christmas gifts for the Christmas party. Debbie is checking on where we will have it this year. So happy lacing to all

The hardest part of being president is writing the words that will keep everyone inspired, but here goes:
Today going through Pat's lace collection we will be remembering Pat all over again, but I know she will be happy sharing what she has left behind. Now to look forward to the upcoming events that are not that far away. Alex’s lace classes and getting to see friends and enjoy the friendships that have been built along the way. I am encouraging any one who has not yet signed up to do so soon. Alex again will be staying part of the time with me and part time with Cathy Morris so if an ..read more
