i have a guy friend, lets call him H. H used to like me a few years back but when he found out i was in a relationship at that point of time, he respected me and backdown. he found someone else after that, but we have both broken up with our ex now.
now that H and i are hanging out together with our friend group again, i realised that he’s been really nice to me (or maybe im just overthinking). when we’re out, he offered to refill my drinks for me when i forgot, or offers to share food with me. during one of our recent bbq event at the park with a big group of friends, i was busy cooking the ..read more

Can girls easily move on from a 10-year relationship without any reason and be happy with someone else, burying their past memories?

I went on two dates with this guy, we kissed on the dates, and all seemed generally fine.
He starts texting me, and the texting is getting hot and heavy, and I'm into it, so I invite him over to mine to "Netflix and chill." He says he doesn't know if he will be free later that day but his schedule is fairly open and he will let me know in the evening, I'm not doing anything that night anyway, so it's not a distribution to my evening either way. He never follows up and never arranges anything.
He messages again, and the same thing happens he is sexy texting me. I invite him over and nothing. N ..read more

I was once chosen as a rebound when this girl found out her bf was gay. I'm not sure about them so I didn't really jump on the chance to be with her. I knew mentally she wasn't right but I was thinking about it ???

I thought I was going on a date with a girl. I met her through the university's WhatsApp group. I invited her drinking coffee, and she accepted. She was a nice girl, and I was complimenting her from the first meeting, basically showing that I liked her. On the second date, I took her to a nice, expensive restaurant. I always sat close to her, complimented her, and she seemed to enjoy it. I was convinced there was a connection between us. On our next date, I bought her a nice gift, and she liked it. And on our last date, I started to show more clearly that I liked her. I was stroking her hair ..read more

Helllooo. I’ve got a couple of matches on bumble specifically, and as a girl I have to message first. Thing is, I just don’t know what to say aside from a boring ‘hey’ that everyone seems to hate receiving.
I’ve used bumble before but I feel like I’ve been zapped of my creativity.
Has anyone got any good openers?

I (27f) matched with him (33M) on Hinge over a month ago. Text game was strong. We met this last Saturday at a bar, and time completely flew past us we ended up talking for SEVEN hours which was unreal, I laughed a lot (snorted - cringe) and genuinely had such a good time. I was shy to look at him because he has beautiful eyes and felt flushed when I looked at him.
This date for me has been different to all my other first dates, I have never sat with somebody for seven hours which is crazy. I didn't feel any unsettling butterflies, but I did feel really safe and calm which is a green flag. I ..read more

If you met a girl who you really vibed with but she told you her parents are extremely catcholic who think sex before marriage and being in a romantic relationship before 25 is a terrible sin. She doesnt believe in any of this herself but you would have to hide the relationship from her parents - What would you do? Is it over?
Edit: shes totally normal and agnostic, its her parents who are ultra religious

I'm 26 years old and the only thing I've done is kiss twice. Around me there are people who every x time are with someone different. That makes me think that there is something about me that people don't like and I don't know what it could be. I don't know if it's the fact of being shy, having a disability or being trans or something else.

So, went for a couple of gin and tonics with a girl from tinder the other evening. Vibe seems to be there and we seem to silly laugh at each other right from the off.
We’re going for dinner at quite a nice restaurant tonight then maybe an activity after (relevant) at a bar that has things like axe throwing, crazy golf etc.
She did tell me she loves flowers and I know her favourite colour is green. I think I’m going to take a small bouquet of flowers.
Is it the right thing to do? Should I leave them in the car for afterwards (so we don’t have to carry them around) especially if we’re doing an ..read more
