July 13, 2023 – The first high-rise to be built on Treasure Island was “topped off” Tuesday, the steel beam hoisted to the roof of the 22-story tower after a ceremony of barbecue brisket and a power-tool raffle for about 180 workers. July 5, 2023 – Construction has topped out with the installation of the eye-catching green ceramic tile facade just one floor from its peak on Mission Rock Parcel F in San Francisco’s Mission Bay. The 23-story tower is the last of four builds in phase one of the Mission Rock master plan. June 21, 2023 – The Canyon at Mission Rock, which opened in early June, is the first building in what eventually will be a 28-acre neighborhood just across the Lefty O’Doul Bridge from Oracle Park. Construction has started for the eight-story affordable infill at 400 China Basin Street in Mission Bay, San Francisco. The project is expected to open 148 new condominiums for sale by 2024, overlooking the rising Mission Rock neighborhood. Mithun is responsible for the design.
