Shakshuka (baked eggs) Recipe
If you are looking for a shakshuka recipe, look no further!
The smell of this delicious dish cooking away offers the promise of something exotic, warm, spicy and completely sumptuous.
This is my version, you can find lots of other derivatives of a shakshuka, some even add varying different beans and vegetables to it. I sometimes add some sliced chorizo if I am feeling a bit on the hungrier side.
Befarma’id!

Lamb Gozleme Recipe
These gorgeous little lamb flatbreads are heaven sent! We first tried them in Turkey where we watched a lady make them in a hut, on a beach, for 2 euros each. I stood and watched her, completely mesmerised by the speed and grace with which she created and rolled the dough, and cooked these little parcels, to perfection. I asked for her recipe and adapted it to suit my taste buds!
You can find lots of variations of this, most use yogurt but I loved hers so much that I wanted to share with you lovely lot! Happy gozleme making !

Thank goodness for bank holiday weekends!! And this one seems to be starting with some sunshine amazingly! My husband asked me what I wanted to eat tonight and only one thing sprung to my mind… Kabob!
If you ask most Persian’s what their favourite food is I can bet most will say either ‘Chelo Kabob’ or ‘Ghormeh Sabzi!” Persian Kabob are worlds away from the awful dry things that you can (but don’t hopefully) buy on sticks at the supermarket. They are juicy, melt in your mouth and delicious. The key is not in the ingredients, but in what you do with the ingredients to get them to hold th ..read more

Lemon & Yoghurt Cake Recipe – This one is a request from one of my followers. It is a delicious dense, moist cake with a lovely delicate flavour and super easy to make. The smell when this cake is cooking fills the air and the crust is chewy and a bit crunchy all in one. I add raspberries and blueberries to mine but you can add any fruit or nuts, it is really versatile. It is a perfect Saturday morning bake for the weekend cake. The aroma fills the house with the promise of a lovely weekend ahead.
