Hello, I am interested in child abuse/maltreatment and other adversity and how it affects adult antisocial traits, antisocial behavior, aggression, violence or related outcomes. I thought looking at interventions and randomized control trials would be interesting.
If you can find something related to adult mental health outcomes or antisocial traits and behavior in older teens, that could be useful too.
I have already went through longitudinal studies on maltreatment and ASB (Braga et al. 2018).
Thank you :)

Hi. Ok so I remember that COVID caused so much economic damage in America. This Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was supposed to help reduce the economic damage and protect workers. But I found that a paper found that the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was very regressive and mostly helped rich folks. Most of the PPP money went to business owners, shareholders, creditors or suppliers. It was an inefficient program. https://mainebeacon.com/report-only-a-third-of-ppp-money-went-to-the-workers-it-was-intended-for/ https://www.nber.org/papers/w29669 Each job cost like cost $170K to $257K per ..read more

I’m sure the greatest explanatory variable for a child’s SES is parental SES (or something like that), but I’m curious if parenting style matters at all. I think a lot of parents act like it does, but I would guess that it doesn’t.

I’m currently researching and writing about the concept and phenomenon that is social death and I’m struggling to pin point why understanding social death is important. I know tackles some of the core issues in social justice but I just can’t quite articulate what the purpose of understanding social death is. I’ve gone through countless studies but I haven’t seen anyone state what understanding social death does for us as individuals/a society/scholars. I hope this is the right subreddit for this :’)
