The theory behind pricing your cakes in order to make a profit is pretty simple. In practice it might be a little time consuming to pull all the numbers together and you might need some help to do it but essentially all you need to do is to make sure that all you know all the ongoing costs associated with your business and then construct your prices around those costs with a bit added on for profit. One of the best things about being a cake designer is discovering wonderful stories about people and the things they have done. Some stories are well known, some are private and others get lost in the past.
