Here’s a fun thing to try if you get together with the girls (or boys!). A raw face scrub! This is so good because the coconut flakes act as a scrub/exfoliator, but are still so soft on your skin, the oil makes your hands soft, and the Castile soap makes everything so clean!
Ingredients
1 tbsp per person;
1 pinch of raw, unsweetened coconut flakes;
1/2 tsp raw spun (or unrefined) coconut butter.
Instructions
Add all the ingredients together and mix until the coconut flakes are a little softer. Then use generously on your face and scrub until suds appear ..read more

1 tablespoon salt
2 cups water

Add a half a cup water in the beginning
Add the remaining 1 ½ cups as you’re blending

Where it All Started
If you have been reading my blog for a while you know I am a proud cat mum. A long while ago I adopted my little rescue kitty from North Shore Animal Shelter. His name is Sammy. I immediately fell in love with him.
Later down the line, I got a call from a neighbor who said that her cousin runs a shelter called Shelter Chic.
Shelter Chic had a little black kitty who had been there for five months. The reason they were reaching out to me is that they knew I liked black cats – hence Sammy. I was sent a picture of the little kitty, who is now my little kitty named Joey ..read more
