Very noob here. I got this Seiko Lord Matic 5601-9000 for real cheap as a project. The watch winds up, ticks and the hands advance at good time. The issue is I cannot adjust the time. When I pull the stem the hands seem to “slip” and cannot be moved when turning the stem. Unfortunately the back doesn’t open and I don’t have a crystal opener which I’ll need to get anyway to get the indice glued back on. Is there a chance this is an issue that can be fixed with a replacement stem? Or is this more likely a more involved fix? I used the watch accuracy meter app on the watch and the thing was running with a beat error around 5.0. Any chance he actually serviced this thing. I'm no expert but that seems terrible for a watch that's been serviced. I have an old Seiko that was given to me and I love it but I want to have it fixed up a bit.
