I am new to webhosting. I am thinking about longing a website for our psychology services. I bought a domain from godaddy and bought a lifetime hosting deal from ibrave.io. The website designing from ibrave sucks. I am looking for alternative website designing service that I can then transfer to ibrave.io. What is the optimal path to proceed?

I’m looking to create a small blog - more of a passion project - so I don’t really expect much to come from it.
Initially every source I read mentioned to use GoDaddy. Now I’m reading here to avoid it at all costs. So I was wondering if VentraIP would be a good place to get everything? Anyone had any problems?
Figures currently are: .com domain name - $16.75 year Wordpress web hosting - $4.20 month Email hosting - $1.92 month per mailbox Yearly total - $90.19
Am I missing anything?
I thought it would be easier to get it all in the one place. Everything seems scalable if I need it to be (doubt ..read more

I have a fairly photo-heavy food blog that dates back about 15 years that I now rarely update. With my hosting company (HostPapa, also pestering me with "Excessive Resource Usage" warnings since I'm on a shared server) jacking up prices to over $200/year, I don't want to incur the expense.
I'll be sad to lose the historical record of all my writing.
At this point, I'm considering just a simple "one-page" blog that would have my photo, bio, and links to published articles. (Bonus if there's a simple way for me to somehow include just a sampling of my best blog posts from the past, re-created ..read more

Sorry if this is a dumb/obvious question. I’ve tried searching for an answer and I think I understand, but I just wanted to double check before I committed to anything. The use of “web hosting” vs “domain hosting” is really tripping me up.
When domain registration sites list a “transfer fee”, are they referring to the price of transferring just the domain to a different domain registry (“domain host”), or are they referring to the price of moving your whole site to a different host?
At first I thought it was the first one but some things I’ve read now make me think it’s the second. If I bough ..read more

Hey folks,
I run an eLearning company and host all my content on GoDaddy/CPanel and the loading speeds are frustratingly slow, even with their top-tier package. I mean this both for my user-facing web pages and courses, and for my FTP uploads and downloads.
I am looking to migrate from GoDaddy and would love your input on which hosting options are the fastest for CPanel & Wordpress.
Thanks for your input!

Hello,
I’ve spent a week researching web hosting options, and I’m feeling overwhelmed. My small business, based in the Middle East, targets a local audience within the country. Unfortunately, local hosting is expensive, so I’m exploring other solutions.
Here are my requirements:
Website Priority: Fast loading speeds and reliable email functionality.
Budget: Maximum $12 USD per month upon renewal.
Current Situation: Startup phase with limited income and few employees.
Experience: No server self-hosting experience.
Website Traffic: 250-500 visitors per month max.
I’m looking for an all-in-one ..read more

Like some of the posts I've seen, I have a hosted, shared space with multiple sites on it -- all are mine -- and I started getting redirects to sites trying to sell phones and give 'rewards'. OK...malware. It was affected across all my sites.
I was able to scan and take care of all the files and injected code impacting the operation of the sites. Two of the sites were dormant, so I deleted them altogether. Two others are seasonal, so I gutted them to an index file with an image basically saying see you in August.
This leaves me one site that I rely on, which is a WordPress site, and my curren ..read more

Hello everyone,
I have a site that I’m using with plesk which was free up to 3 domains with digitalocean. It was a great experience using plesk as it was very easy to use. Now plesk has sent a notification that the free version will expire in August and I have to pay them 16/month. I am thinking of moving to a new panel and I checked online for that. I found that CloudPanel is the best one. I am looking for your experiences with CloudPanel, like how easy is to use CloudPanel as compared to plesk? Looking forward for your experiences with CloudPanel.

I'm a bare-bones individual website owner and have a related Microsoft Office subscription. My details, and my distrust of my current hosting and registration provider GoDaddy are below. I will be changing to someone (your advice welcome, on whom to pick) but I want to make sure that the PROCESS OF CHANGING does not somehow include some kind of mistake. I don't want to lose my domain-names, f.e., and I have a Microsoft subscription that seems a bit oddly interconnected.
So, I have four domains (f.e. myname-dot-com, namemine-dot-com, mylawfirm-dot-com, firmlawmine-dot-com), the hosting of two ..read more

I preface this by admitting I know very little about this stuff, but I transferred my website from Siteground to Cargo about 6 weeks ago and would like to now delete my account with Siteground. However, when I look at the DNS information on Cargo, I see a TXT label with a Siteground address on it. Is that something just leftover from the transfer or is Siteground somehow still required to keep my website running?
