I’m hooked on 30A after an amazing girls getaway! Sanders Beach Rentals provided us with the most amazing property that we were lucky to stay at. This was also my first time to the area and I loved it!! I cannot wait to go back!
If you are wondering where, or what 30A is, you’re not alone. I had no idea what people were talking about when they go to “30A”. 30A is actually a road that runs along the beach in Walton County Florida, and connects a bunch of beach communities. Areas along 30A include Seaside, Watercolor, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Watersound.
To get here, we flew into Panama City ..read more

Since this was my first time packing a maternity hospital bag, I opted to read a few different blogs to gather some ideas about what was needed and what wasn’t. I was pretty happy overall with everything I packed, but I would maybe make a few changes next time.
Here is everything I packed or wish I packed. When we first arrived at the hospital when I was in labor, we just brought in a backpack with some necessities and left the big suitcase and pillows in the car until we were moved to our overnight room with the baby.
Things I brought:
Nightgowns/Sleepshirts (don’t bother bringing pajamas wi ..read more

I just delivered my precious baby girl, but I still have some maternity dresses to share with you! I actually took these photos the day I went into labor! They are all from Amazon and technically non-maternity, but work well with the bump!
I am 5’10 for reference and pre-pregnancy size small
Turtleneck Sweater Dress in Beige
This dress is so soft and comfortable. Plus its really stretchy- wearing my pre-pregnancy size small.

Ok I’m a little late in posting this, but here it is none the less! My second trimester was definitely better than the first (you can read about my first trimester here)! I felt more myself and didn’t have many uncomfortable symptoms. My acne was getting better by the day and I wasn’t nauseous anymore. You can check out my first trimester recap here.
Its definitely true when they say the second trimester is the best- you feel great and your bump isn’t too big yet.
Back Pain
This was probably the worst thing to happen to me this trimester. I will be the first to admit that I do not have the bes ..read more

I’m counting down the days unit Christmas and am so exited for it to finally be here! I am nearing the end of my pregnancy as well, so there is a lot happening around the house. One of my favorite pastimes is baking holiday treats. But with the holiday rush and being VERY pregnant, Walmart’s Online Order and Pickup has been a game changer! Walmart always has the best price on everything I need, so I just place my order online and head there to pick it up from the comfort of my car.
Check out this comparison- Walmart has the best quality brands at the lowest price! Here are some of the items I ..read more

Black Friday is upon us and I have made a Black Friday Wishlist of some items I am currently loving and have my eye on! I don’t know exactly what will be included in the Black Friday sales, but I hope lots of my picks are discounted! A lot of these items also make great gifts if you are shopping for others!
1. Red Wine Glasses
I love these wine glasses! I have the white wine version, but would love to complete my collection with the red set!
2. Givency Bag
I don’t have a red bag that I love and I think this Givency bag from Farfetch would be the perfect red cross body! Check out more handbags ..read more

I know this post is way overdue, but maybe it will be informative for those of you who are just recently pregnant! You can also read our Pregnancy Journey post here. Before this pregnancy I had a miscarriage (ectopic pregnancy), so I was a little unsure if that meant I was going to have issues getting pregnant again, but thankfully everything was fine the second time!
My first trimester wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t a walk in the park either. I know some women have it way worse than I did, so I totally sympathize with them.
I found out I was pregnant at about 3.5 weeks (they start counting th ..read more

I can’t tell you how excited we are for our baby girl! Well, I’m probably a little more excited than Jon. I hoped for a little girl, but I thought it was going to be a boy, so I was very surprised when the confetti was PINK!! She is already so loved, and I can’t wait to dress my little girl in the cutest outfits!
You can also read our pregnancy journey post here.
I opted for a light pastel/neutral color pallet for the gender reveal, and I think everything turned out wonderfully! I will leave links to vendors and items we used below!
These are the confetti poppers we used. We popped 2 ..read more

A couple weekends ago, Jon, Wendy and I embarked on a little road trip to Lake Ouachita State Park, Arkansas. It was about a 5 hour drive from Dallas and it was a nice little getaway since we haven’t been able to travel much due to COVID. We camped at the Lake Ouachita State Park campground and it was a great location near the lake. I’ll recap a little at the end about the campground and what you should know!
We haven’t been tent camping in many years, so it was fun to break out the camping gear again for a little adventure. I wanted to put up a post on some of the essential items we brought w ..read more
