Judy the school crossing supervisor from Inverloch, and Julie the school crossing supervisor from Wonthaggi came to visit our kinder room to teach the children about road safety. Safety of the children is paramount to us at Inverloch Childcare and we believe its important that the children apply what they learn in the centre out in the community as well. Every fortnight our Kinder children visit Opal aged care. These excursions help promote a sense of community and is nice for both children and the elderly to interact with people of different ages.  On our visits to opal the children like to sing songs, do cooking experiences and play games, this week we did arts and crafts, with the children giving their wonderful creations to the residents.  Each time we attend the children become more confident in approaching their new friends and interacting with them.
