I’ve been thinking about getting hair extensions for a while now, but I wasn’t sure about it. I wasn’t sure if they could be sustainable, ethical, comfortable etc…! Lats year I started going to vegan, sustainable, B corp hair salon: Butchers Salon. They tick so many great boxes and also do great hair styling, cuts and colour. I then saw they were starting to do hair extensions and I was intrigued. Turns out they are using Great Lengths who are also a B Corp; who knew! So after some conversations with both the salon and Great Lengths and some of my friends who also have their extensions; I deci ..read more

Were you an early 2000’s nu metal kid? I most defineitly was and the genre shaped my life, style, music taste etc. I’ve made a youtube video talking about the key style references and brands of that era. It’s not exactly a deep dive but more of an overview and key points. Looking into the sub genres within Nu Metal from a style perspective and the most popular style and brands. The video is packed full of nostalgia. Head over to my youtube or watch below. If you are logged into youtube you can leave me some feedback, let me know if you enjoyed it or if you would add anything. I think I’m going ..read more

The Best Sneaker Collab’s of 2023 for me.

What were the best sneaker collaborations of 2023, for me? This is all totally based on my personal preference. Number 1 is 100% the Adidas x Korn collaboration. Finally after 30 years Korn got their long awaited Adidas collaboration. After repping the brand heavily in the late 90s and early 2000s, adidas gifted the band but never officially collaborated with them. They even took a deal with Puma who offered to pay the band to wear their apparel and shoes. They loved sportswear which came from their love of rap and rap style and culture. Which could be heard through their music and seen throug ..read more

Wellness is very important to me, and it should be for everyone. Post-pandemic we all need some help to look after our bodies and minds. Being neurodivergent I struggle with having a quiet mind. I actually never have a quiet mind and I’m easily distracted. I love meditation but I find it very hard. I usually go to yoga classes where I find it easier to switch off and enjoy savasana. However, I still find it hard to meditate for longer periods. I also have long covid, which has been SUCH a long journey to recover from – I’m not fully over it but I’m generally getting much better. Part of that ..read more

Summer Suits for Weddings and more.

I’ve curated the best women’s summer suits, so you don’t have to. I recently went to a wedding party of a very cool couple which gave me the opportunity to style up an old suit I had. This one is from Monki a couple of years ago, it’s simple and can easily be dressed down. But I loved glamming it up for the wedding too. I added some glam earrings, necklaces and rings to really spice it up. As well as a vintage Guess Bag which is very on-trend at the moment. Plus some chunky heals with a pink heart to coordinate with the suit and give the look an alternative edge in keeping with my personal sty ..read more

I’ve been to Margate quite a few times over the years and I love it. But as someone with dietary requirements, the dread of going somewhere new and hoping I can eat safely and well – is always dire! However, I’ve always managed to find food in Margate I can eat and it’s better now than ever! For a classic Fish and Chips, you can try out Beach Byos literally on the seafront. They have a whole gluten-free and a whole vegan menu and their vegan menu is all gluten-free too! It’s so nice to actually be able to join in on the tradition of Fish and Chips by the sea! Also down the road in Ramsgate, yo ..read more
