8 basketball games in 3 days. Hayden is exhausted but had so much fun. She tussled with the big girls like they weren’t 3 years older than her LOL. She hit the ground a lot but won her share of jump balls. No fear! It is hard work playing against these 16-18 year olds. Some are huge.  Eleven is in heat...so sad too bad Egon you have to skip play time for a while LOL. It's a bummer the flies are bothering you Cinder. Studying for my last proctor, then all I have left to finish is the last externship...so close to being done with school. Had to take a kitten break. First games with Hayden’s 18U tournament team this weekend. The girls were playing with only 8 and of those a couple were fill ins. They struggled but kept at it. Hayden played 1st mostly but did enjoy spending time at 2nd and short too, a couple errors but mostly she did very well hanging with the big girls. Hayden was a bit worried about batting against the 16-18 year olds, but she held her own. She is still scared to get hit by one of these screaming pitches. I don’t blame her. Doing dentals at the clinic is so rewarding. Sometimes there is not much you can do but to remove the problems as no amount of cleaning will help. Check your dogs teeth. Bad breath, lots of calculi build up are signs that a cleaning may be needed. Little dogs especially should be checked yearly and have dentals done. Dental chews are somewhat helpful, dental wipes even better. This is a pile of teeth that pretty much fell out during a dental today on a FIVE year old dog…who was already missing other teeth. Lily and the cast of Newsies have been working so hard. This last week before opening night they have been working from 6pm to 10:30pm every night. She is exhausted but excited.  Jericho's baseball team beat a tough and undefeated team tonight. They are doing a great job this season. Hayden's rec team won tonight. She is excited for her tourney team to get started this coming weekend. She is getting so close to an out of the park home run. Tonight she hit one that fell right at the fence.
