Now look, it has taken me a while to get on board with the ugly sandal trend, but it’s fair to say I’m here for it this summer. They’re comfortable, versatile and they induce a little pinch of nostalgia dating back to the days when my sister and I used to rock Reef velcro foam sandals when everyone else was wearing feminine jelly sandals. Here are my favourite styles for all tastes and occasions.

This maternity capsule wardrobe I’ve created has been designed with your current wardrobe in mind. There’s a reason why a lot of the colours I’ve chosen are black/neutral and this is simply because black is universally flattering and neutrals are versatile, making these pieces easy to style with what you already own.
In my experience of building capsule maternity wardrobes for my clients, and also myself (during isolation), the aim is to own pieces that are comfortable enough to wear at home but also can be dressed-up by styling with a great jacket or boot if needed. I own a lot of these piece ..read more

Dressing a baby bump can be fun, but it’s not always easy. Here are a few tips on how to keep it simple, save yourself some money, and even enjoy dressing your growing bean.
Shop your wardrobe
As many of your go-to clothes gradually stop fitting you, it can become more difficult to put together outfits you feel good in. This doesn’t mean you need to race out and purchase a load of maternity clothes that you won’t wear when you’re not pregnant. Instead, shop your wardrobe - try on new combinations of clothes. Look at what you’ve got that still fits your growing bump, and will continue ..read more

Until about 6 months ago, my beauty case was a bit of a mess. I had accumulated an array of products that were either freebies in goodie bags or bought on the run during a quick trip to Mecca or a pharmacy while travelling. Sure, I had always had my go-to products for things like foundation, face cream and a few other items but that was about it. When I turned 30, I treated myself and invested in a make-up artist to go through my beauty case to tell me what I needed to toss, what to keep using and what I needed to add. This make-up artist goes by the name of Kate, and she was (still is) brill ..read more

Unfollow Instagram accounts that make you feel sh#t
I was recently feeling so overwhelmed by everything and I realised that I follow 800 Instagram accounts, most of which are trying to sell me something I don’t need. So I went on a culling rampage and unfollowed anyone that didn’t have a positive effect on my mindset. I also looked in to people who I follow and feel inspired by to see if they follow anyone who I wasn’t following that made me feel just as good. Since then, I’ve felt less overwhelmed when using social media. I also unsubscribed from a bunch of email newsletters which was just a ..read more
