I haven’t posted in so long! I thought I would kinda call it quits with fashion blogging and focus more on advancing my career. However, I noticed how popular my last AllSaints post was, and I thought I’d give an update. Especially now that I own one of their infamous leather jackets! Ahh! I’m still excited to have this jacket. It’s like I never knew what real leather felt like until now. First of all, I still can’t believe I went with a non-black jacket. Second, I can’t believe I went with pink. The “Dusty Pink” color a bit more corally but still a muted version. The color pops but not to ..read more

Hitting The Streets in Platform Slides

Slides? Check. Flatform? Check. Under $40? Check. I don’t think the perfect pair of summer sandals could have come at a better time. Just in time for moderately warm autumn. Coconuts by Matisse introduced the Del Mar Slides this past summer, and they are the best for petite gals who want comfort and an extra inch of height to vacation in. In September, I took a weekend trip to Washington, DC and hit the streets with these slides. There are only so many shoes you can take in one bag, and I opted to take one pair. I’m know ..read more

Gingham Cool for the Summer

I love my checks and I love my gingham. Gingham is the linear square pattern you need for the summer, usually, fit for woven cotton or linen pieces. It is the essential look for the 60s youthful style and the modern go-to picnic wear. On a closer note, I noticed that gingham patterns have a gradient to their alternating boxes. What a subtle but ingenious way to make something look softer and more feminine. I leaned into the vintage-inspired modern look by pairing my black and white gingham top with flared camel trousers, crochet mules, and a clear bag. The gingham brings out the fun in my ..read more

There’s something about maxi dresses that make you feel more elegant and carefree. It’s a whole “I got my life together and don’t need to try hard” vibe. I especially have noticed the influx at outdoor concerts this summer. Most people dress in shorts, rompers, and short flowy dresses for that try-hard boho look. Trust me, if you have been to a tour stop on Florence and the Machine, you have seen this. I really want to be into dresses right now for the summer, especially to cover my skin from the sun and go extra days without shaving. My genetics make it a challenge for me, even finding one ..read more

Not Your Average set, Houndstooth Be Told

SUIT UP FOR THE STREETSI’m really feeling the gingham and houndstooth patterns right now. Maybe because summer is approaching and I really want to have a picnic right now. Houndstooth is more of a fall pattern; feels more dark and moody than gingham. I particularly am feeling the houndstooth in this unique suit-y set. It’s got the feels of a suit, but vibes of the street. I was first sold on the skirt, especially the pattern belt. It’s a nice twist for a structured skirt, but the houndstooth jacket is a bomber style which I haven’t seen before and definitely more street-style. I wanted to ..read more

BRING IT ON DOWN TO THE ALLSAINTS SALEWhen your clothing tastes are a bit expensive, but your bank account says you shouldn’t even try. They have a word for it, “broque.” That’s why I’m thankful for the deep winter clearance that makes its way into mid-Spring. AllSaints particularly has an amazing sale: up to 50% off plus an extra 30% off. You’ll find a $200 sweater for less than $80 and rejoice. Recently discovering this cove of high fashion treasures, I thought I’d try an AllSaints sweater and see how they fit for petites. AllSaints is in UK sizing usually, so the smallest size 0 equates ..read more
