Has anyone’s estradiol dot ever “migrated” own?

I just started peri BHRT (generic Vivelle dot & generic prometrium) and am very glad to have found this sub. For those of you who use the dot, has your dot ever migrated on its own? Not fallen off, but moved to another spot? The other day, I put my dot on the small of my back, but above where pants waistlines would hit. A few days later, I realized my dot had moved an inch or so lower on my torso, but I know I didn’t peel it off and move it. submitted by /u/dolphin_apparition [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have a hard time remembering to do daily self care things like take fiber and other supplements, do PT exercises, etc. Reminders on my phone are useful for one off things but easy to ignore for recurring tasks. Is there an app that will reset and let me track the same things daily? How do you all manage to remember your daily routines? submitted by /u/Admiral_Genki [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Help remove the “black box” label from vaginal estrogen!

Dr. Ashley Winter is a urologist who is working to make vaginal estrogen cream more accessible for people in menopause and peri menopause. Vaginal estrogen cream prevents and treats UTIs and genital dryness and atrophy and is safe for virtually everyone because it’s non-systemic. Currently there’s a needless “black box” warning on it because it’s treated the same way as systemic HRT. She wants the FDA to remove the warning. It seems like too much estrogen and lack of estrogen have the same side effects. I just increased my estrogen through evernow to 0.1. Is anyone else on this dosage? I see so many posts on how HRT has been life changing. I feel better on HRT but I don't feel normal. Does anyone know of a telehealth company in the U.S. that prescribes Testosterone? I want energy and sexual desire. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Internal_Gas9983 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

So I am late peri, labs far below meno range, up all night every night.. wide awake.. heart racing.. and I was curious whether there were studies on low estrogen and cortisol. Found these interesting articles: https://herkare.com/blog/estrogen-hormone-replacement-cortisol-levels/ https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/11/171102140518.htm submitted by /u/matteblackcube [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How do you deal with not snapping at everyone around you? There are times I just want to yell at everyone around me, even my dog. Everyone is pissing me off. I don't have many rage filled moments, but when I do I feel like I am losing myself., like I don't even recognize myself. I am turn into a complete raging bitch. For those who get like this, what helps to calm you down or at least regain control? submitted by /u/painislife4real [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

(This is a ramble, sorry) Being of a certain age, growing up, I was conditioned to be sweet, nice and fiercely supportive. Within the last few years I have looked inward and grown. I am at the point now where I no longer put my feelings last and this has become a huge problem. I don't cower, stay silent or apologize when I'm not sorry. The men it my life (I am at the point where I think it's all of them) are getting put in their place when they try to lift themselves up while pushing me down. I am treating them exactly how they're treating me and boyyyyyyy they do not like it. I have always n ..read more

Women who lost your hair on testosterone replacement…

Women who lost your hair on testosterone replacement, did you stop taking it? Did your hair stop falling out? If so, how long did it take before it stopped shedding and did it grow back? My chronic severe shedding correlates to when I started. We’ve ruled out all other possibilities and today my derm suggested this as the culprit, saying she sees it often. I’m super bummed, but also hopeful that this is the solution. Any experiences would be helpful and appreciated. To clarify, I am on hrt due to hysterectomy and oophorectomy. submitted by /u/HeartOfAVintageGirl2 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I’m 52. Had my LMP in February after not having one for 12 months. My ultrasound is good except for three teeny tiny fibroids. I’ve been divorced since 2012, co-parenting two now teenagers with my ex-husband who is a decent guy but who, like many men, have left the heavy lifting to me. My oldest is autistic. I basically gave up my career years ago bc my child needed me present and couldn’t rely on my husband at the time to do what I could do. Basically, married but no real support. Getting divorced broke my heart but I couldn’t do it anymore. My load hasn’t gotten any lighter as my son now ha ..read more
