Congratulations to the 103 runners who finished Vi’s Top of Tantalus! We hope you all enjoyed the beautiful, muddy trails on a lovely, but humid morning. Thank you for celebrating Vi Medusky-Jones who would have been so proud of you all charging up that last hill.
We could not have put on such a fun and smooth event without the assistance of our wonderful volunteers. Congratulations and thank you to all involved in the event.
Peacock Challenge was the last of the 10 races in the series, ending what has been eight months of trail fun.
For some, this event was just another training run. For others, this came as a challenge to up their distance. Whatever your goal or motivation, congratulations on toeing the line and persevering under very hot and hard conditions.
At 6 am on race day, 47 runners set out to cover the 55-mile distance. 26 finished the event in the allotted time.

Mahalo to everyone who participated and volunteered at the 30th annual Tantalus Triple Trek. The day started off with some showers that gave way to strong heat in the afternoon. It was by no means an easy day out there so congratulations to all who braved the tough conditions.
We also want to congratulate the top three winners in each category and also thank PJ Salmonson for the beautiful awards.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Maunawili Out and Back “Run with the Pigs”! It was a spectacular day, with great weather, and very strong competitors completing the course.
Thanks to the 420+ people hours of trail clearing, everyone was able to run this beautiful trail with minimal hazards or impediments. 6:00 a.m. start from 45-550 Kionaole Rd, Kaneohe, HI 96744 (map) – parking is very tight – carpooling and getting dropped off is highly recommended. All tires must be off of the roadway.
Ending at the Waimanalo trailhead Waikupanaha St, Waimanalo, HI 96795 (map) – parking is limited and safety of your vehicle cannot be guaranteed.
