Woweeeee. I made it a year of breastfeeding. So crazy. If you made it one day, one week, one month, one year, you know how much work it can be! That ish is a full time job with a lot of emotions. ? Before I get into how I weaned and what it was like for me, I want to share a little on my journey with breastfeeding and how it was for us! If you didn’t know, Summer was born a little over five weeks early and spent just shy of a week in the NICU. She was on bottles from day one, and I pumped as much as I could while I was in the hospital (If you don’t know my whole birth story and why I was in th ..read more

Summer’s Toys and Things
Moxie

The number one question in my DM’s lately is where Summer’s high chair is from. Cracks me up seeing as I started out doing only fashion. How times have changed. ? So I wanted to go ahead and put the link for that and other commonly asked about items and toys I have for her that we love and use all the time! I obviously first bought this high chair because it matches my home decor because #priorities. However if the reviews had been bad or we didn’t end up liking it, I could suck up my particularities. But we actually love it! It’s super easy to clean and works great. I also love the price poin ..read more

MY NEWBORN MUST HAVE ITEMS
Moxie

OK this post is going to be short and sweet. Well I mean I’m not going to give you a list of 27 things. So the list will be short. Not sure if my fingers will follow suite though. ? I have to say there’s nothing like your baby coming early to make you realize what you really need. We literally didn’t even have a bassinet for her to sleep in. So we used our stroller with the bassinet attachment. That’s how real things got over here. And I can’t even tell you how many things we ordered on Amazon Prime while we were in the hospital. This list is my bare essentials that are the must haves for me ..read more

Summer’s Three Month Update and “Schedule”
Moxie
by Christine Benentt

Well somehow I already have a three-month old! It’s crazy. It feel like it’s gone so fast but so slow at the same time. But then Ben and I were just saying we can’t imagine life without her. Our little Summer Joy is the best thing that ever happened to us, and every single day we just stare at her and can’t believe “we made that”. I thought it would be fun to share a little update about what Summer is like and how our days go and what our “schedule” is like so here goes! Summer is seriously the most chill little girl. I kind of expected that because it’s how Ben and I are but you never know, y ..read more

Uppa Baby Vista Review

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. The opinions and text are all mine. I’m finally getting around to writing my post I promised you on the UPPAbaby VISTA stroller and MESA carseat! I wish my excuse was that I was really testing it out for you but it’s actually that I feel like I barely have time to sit down to do stuff like this. After Summer goes to sleep, I do a few things around the house or take a shower, and then BAM, she’s awake. To be honest, I don’t even know if I’ll get through writing this before she wakes up. ? But praying I do. ? (LOL I didn’t. Fi ..read more

YOU GUYS. I have a BABY!!! Like WHAT?! HOW?!?! If you’ve been following along on Instagram and keeping up with my stories and everything that happened leading up to having my baby girl, Summer, you know that I never would have thought I would be writing this post at the beginning of May (her due date was May 18), and that I never would have thought she would already be almost three weeks old as I typed this on the first day of May. I want to give a full recap of everything that happened surrounding her birth because it was a lot. The short story is that I had preeclampsia and Hellp syndrome ou ..read more

READY FOR A BABY?!
Moxie
by Christine Benentt

So one of the initial questions I received several times when I first posted about being pregnant was how did we know we were ready to start a family?! Because I felt like this question was a little more involved than some of the others I got, I decided to save it for a dedicated post. We have been asked basically since the day we got married when we were going to have kids. Which when you have been married for five years AND work in a salon where you see new people all day long is A LOT. ? When I would answer, people would always say well you’ll never be ready or there’s never a right ..read more

HI GUYS. OMG YOU GUYS ARE SO GREAT! I cannot thank you enough for all of your love and support over the last few days since our announcement. I may not have gotten back to all of your comments, but Ben and I read every single one! Thank you SO MUCH. Ok so I know I did our announcement, but you guys had a ton of questions all about my first trimester and how everything has been going so I wanted to give you the 4-1-1. I’m just going to break it down by categories and spill the beans on each one. I am currently in Hawaii visiting my brother and his family, and tomorrow I will already be thirteen ..read more

Hair Clips

Hi guys! So as of two days ago when I found the cutest barrette at Target, I’ve decided I’m super into hair clips/barrettes for this next season. I’ve been a little bored with my hair styles lately so I ordered a bunch of cute clips and I’m hoping that will help to change things up, and I figured they’d be cute for when we’re in Hawaii next week and my hair is all crazy from the humidity! P.S. If you’re looking at ordering from Asos, they’re the best because they have free shipping and free returns! Happy shopping! xx, Christine   The post Hair Clips appeared first on Moxie ..read more
