My mom once told me that I learned to swear at age two. We were out in the back yard and I pointed up to the stars and said “shit, mama, shit”. What I really meant was “stars are the SHIT”. A few years later, my grampa Norman, who lived next door, showed me the moon and Jupiter (and its visible moons) in a small telescope. I was hooked.
