There were five Team SA athletes in action in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday. Conditions were again described as “brutally hot” on the penultimate day of competition. Dylan Kruger and Jonathan Benjamin competed in the men’s duathlon, Natalie Sterk took part in the women’s duathlon and sport climbing was represented by Lauren Mukheibir and Mel Janse van Rensburg. World Triathlon Series Edmonton, in partnership with World Triathlon and Triathlon Canada, regret to inform that the Age-Group Championship races will not be held this August 17-22 as part of the 2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals Edmonton.
