The Non-Playable Characters, a progressive rock band from Rio de Janeiro, have just released a new lyric video. “Chaotic Line Between Two Points, Pt. 2” has the amazing participation of Derek Sherinian (Sons of Apollo, Planet X, ex-Dream Theater) who created some ground-breaking keyboard solos for the song.

Progressive groove metal juggernauts JINJER have once again beat the odds: the band announces today that with the support of the Ukrainian Ministry Of Culture, they have been granted a special exemption to exit Ukraine in order to help their countrymen the best way they can – through music. After breaking into the live music scene in Ohio in support of their debut LP Matter opening for major acts such as Yngwie Malmsteen and The Summer Slaughter tour in late 2019, Crossing the Rubicon returns with their latest EP entitled Anthologies Vol. 1 out today, May 14th, 2021.

As one of the most influential musicians in America, Bob Dylan has heavily influenced progressive rock through his unique mixture of folk, country, rock, and blues.
The good news is that Rolling Stone announced that he’s planning to release some new and original material, through his new album ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways’ on June 19. Rumours suggest it is named after the classic song by Jimmie Rodgers, titled ‘My Rough and Rowdy Ways’ in 1929.
One of the highlights of the album is the 17-minute-long track ‘Murder Most foul’, which gets its own separate disc in the CD version of the release.

The Tangent, the progressive rock group led by Andy Tillison, are pleased to announce the release of their 11th studio album Auto Reconnaissance on the 21st August 2020. The follow-up to 2018’s Proxy, sees them taking the band philosophy of celebrating the golden age of prog, whilst bringing it to the present and exploring new paths for the music to take in the future. Steven Wilson’s forthcoming sixth album has been postponed due to issues arising from the current Coronavirus situation. Originally due for release on 12th June 2020, The Future Bites will now be released on 29th of January, 2021.
