Who knew that it'd be this easy to enjoy wagyu?  Wagyu usually is associated with exclusivity and rarity, but its addicting flavor really makes us crave for it 24/7. It's not always easy to make a trip to stores that specialize in wagyu given the extreme level of traffic these days. Plus, there are too many wagyu cubes places that no one knows where to get good ones anymore. Thankfully, Tokyo Tokyo now has their Wagyu Cubes Bento, so it's easy to get our wagyu fix anytime, anywhere (given that they have 60+ branches!).  Their bento is very affordable at Php200 each, inclusive of ..read more

Weee!!! For once, a flagship store is near my house!  Tokyo Tokyo unveiled its recently revamped and remodeled flagship store in TriNoma, and the good news is it's not just the place that got a makeover. They also unveiled new exclusive menu items that can only be found in their TriNoma branch!  In case you were wondering what was going on with all the construction works going on for months now, this is the result! The brand sought the architectural and interior design expertise of JJ Acuña of Bespoke Studio to remodel the store. Now, if you will notice, it feels much brighter ..read more

Sweet Tooth Therapy with Scout's Honor Cookies

Strawberries from Baguio and cookies are a match made in heaven.  More so, when it's Scout's Honor. After being graciously treated to two boxes of Scout's Honor, my family had the week of their lives, as everyone was munching on strawberries and cookies everyday. The toaster oven's usual "Ding!" became more exciting and special, as each "Ding!" meant that a warm, gooey and chewy cookie was awaiting to be eaten.  This photo was taken at Scout's Honor Hole In The Wall branch. Thankfully there's a Vertis North branch now! Scout's Honor stands for everything artisanal and everyth ..read more

Lazy Afternoon At Kushikatsu Daruma

Kushikatsu Daruma It's always a good time at Kushikatsu Daruma! Ah, as I type this I miss their Chuhai all of a sudden. Everytime thoughts of Kushikatsu Daruma come up, I always associate the place with the words "filling" and "refreshing." It's the ultimate go-to spot if you want Japanese comfort food. The whimsical Japanese tavern interiors always get to me. I wish they had more branches (read: a branch in Quezon City) because this place is the best and I live 1.5 hours away. It's unbelievable to be telling people that I'm 1.5 hours away even when it's just 11km away from our h ..read more

Fun Times at Hanamaruken

Feast at Hanamaruken There are always very long lines at Hanamaruken, especially at the TriNoma branch. But usually, not a single frown is to be seen amongst those waiting, because they know that heir waiting will bring them to good things.  To bowls of happiness, to be exact.  It was a lazy Saturday night, but we were like 10th in line because Hanamaruken is the best and everyone wants to eat there. Thankfully, the line always moves quickly, and I feel that there is a general sense of courtesy amongst diners to not overstay beyond what seems reasonable.  H ..read more

#UpYourGaling with MILO Nutri Up

In yet another super overdue post, I am super thankful once again to MILO for having sent over a year's supply of MILO Nutri-Up!!! I can attest to the one year supply part because we really did take up almost a year, and we still haven't finished up the contents of the box they sent.  MILO is especially relevant to all of us right now, now that it's super rainy! It's important to warm the body up given that it's raining cats and dogs almost all the time recently. What's special with MILO, of course, is that it goes beyond just giving the body warmth and fuzziness, and beyond just being ..read more

I'm so sorry world!!! When I did the draft for this post, it was to be entitled 'What's New at Le Petit Soufflé', but since this is still from September last year, I now have to entitle it as 'Memories at Soufflé'. I got so busy with work from then on that I barely had time for anything else. I got to the point where I barely even left the house because of how hectic my schedule got! Nonetheless, no one's crazy schedule should ever stop them from enjoying life at Le Petit Soufflé! This is the Mega Fashion Hall branch that I went to.  The interiors are quaint, and contrary ..read more
