Asking those who understand this product. If I get it right, this isolator has circuitry to protect the SDI? That switch is just an extra level of protection but if the switch is ON, it should still protect?
Recently had a first assume that she didn't need to LIFO in a certain setup. The monitor was on batteries and an hdmi paralinx transmittee was plugged into the monitor's out and powered via a 14V d-tap. She did some rig changes and unplugged and re-plugges the dtap on the transmitter. It sent the shock via hdmi, into the monitor and into the camera. Looking for a solution to idiotproo ..read more

Hi guys, I have been struggling in the colour area and I spend a lot of time trying to fix the colour balance in post when correcting/grading.
Was wondering if you use a grey card and/or if its beneficial?

Any DIY experiences with the film-out process of recording 2K digital to 16mm or 35mm film using a film camera? Excluding processing and scanning.

Edit: I meant surdiest, lightest camera tripod.
I got a Benro that’s light but not sturdy, an EImage that’s super heavy so I never take it unless Im doing multicam, and a Manfroto photography tripod that I never use for camera movements. I was wondering how the world has changed in the meanwhile.

Hi all! Got a very specific question, would the Ronin 1 be strong enough to support an Alexa Plus? I'd like to put it on a gimbal but a Ronin 2 or a Steadicam isn't in my budget, but I could afford a used Ronin 1 at a stretch. I am also aware of the battery issue with the older DJI gimbals having poor batteries that are expensive to replace

Hi,
Wear many hats and sometime shoot as a one man band. Grading is not my strong suit. I wonder, if shooting flat and/or in log and then throwing on a grade in adobe premiere can work well.
If so, are there are grades that are recommended/suggested for adobe premiere.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Thank You!
